Holidays are fucking weird for me. Not really close to my immediate family anymore not just physically but mentally as well. Holidays for the logest time where just dark pits of shitty depression.

Very thankful for chosen family and the mental capacity to choose to make my own traditions. Holidays are slowlly feeling like less of a dark time than they have in the past.
