I feel your pain, I have struggled with my teenager as well. It's like a long dark tunnel they go into and all you can do is stand at the other end and call to them. Hopefully, they hear you and find the light, but make no mistake the journey through the tunnel is theirs alone. Thankfully, my child is almost out. Hang in there it gets better.

Teens are tough. I offered enough rope to mime, so to speak, to have his freedom, learn his lessons and not make a terrible mistake.

Mistakes were made, but he is on a great track now.
