Mises said it best:

“Socialism is an alternative to capitalism as potassium cyanide is an alternative to water.”

― Ludwig von Mises, Human Action: A Treatise on Economics

slippery slope can be a fallacy but when it comes to tolerating violence and theft it is not... it's boiling frog (which is also a fallacy, the frogs do leap out when they start to cook)

i first encountered this fake philosophy when i was living in an anarchist bookstore and my consistent experience with socialists is they are cultists, you never see a several paragraph speech without fawning over marx for his wonderous philosophy

it's fake

it's just a way to cloak the existence of the ruling class inside a perversion of democracy where you can vote without having any cost for voting to have other people's stuff given to you forcibly

apologising for socialism is a fast track to losing my attention
