I’m all for local but I also bet a bunch of your local people are trying to sell to people far away unconcerned about their local merchants. I’ll just let the market work itself out.

Everyone makes their choices in life. Guess I could go check the records of all the various businesses in town … do an analysis 🧐
Instead it’s possible my lived experiences here & witnessing the various businesses come & go … seeing how many choose to support one another is enough.
Who knows? Perceptions vary. Always. Many historically chose to “let the market work itself out.” Hence why the world is what it is.
