Created by Italian designers Anna CItelli and Raoul Bretzel, Capsula Mundi promises to continue the cycle of life. It is oval in shape, made of starch bioplastic, which serves as a biodegradable urn that receives a person's body, places it in a fetal position and is then buried like a tree seed.

Thus, a tree is planted on top, so that the body of the deceased provides the necessary nutrients to help the plant grow. The goal is to create a cemetery of "sacred" trees.

The process symbolizes the cycle of life, even after death.
