Dear Vanguard, out of college me and my portfolio of your diversified index funds outperformed so many of the 2and20 hedge funds and “premier” active managers I came across. You used to be my hero, a friend to the “little guy”… what happened? We all change, but you changed for the worse. You’re just not the company you were when we first met two decades ago. Hopefully one day you’ll wake up. Goodbye.
