I've just fallen asleep on the beach in the bright evening sun (after 36 hours awake and detours due to the union strike in Berlin, 😮💨)
Madeira has an enormous number of micro-climatic zones because of 3 mountains about 1800 m high, I learned today. It always seems to be a bit milder and sunnier in Funchal.
