The hubs and I lost 60 plus pounds each counting calories. I knew that for me, denial was a road to failure. I learned how to make healthier choices and eventually got to the point where the unhealthy things just didn't do it for me anymore. It is a lifestyle change that still allows me to eat cake. I just need to get back to my walking and weights again. I'm a believer in you have to do what works for you and that's not always what is best for other people. Maybe do combo carnivore and keto ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ. Good luck with whatever you choose and know that you can always do better next time if you slip ๐Ÿซ‚๐Ÿซ‚

Congrats on the weight loss. I am currently down 15 lbs. I would like to lose at least 25 more to get back to a weight I feel more comfortable with. Ideally I would like to lose 40 lbs. But I will happy once I can reach the next lowest range. I am trying to push myself this time by doing at least a half hour of physical movement (elliptical, cardio, walking, etc) a day. Ever since I started driving and where I currently live, it's hard to walk around, and I love walking. You are right, keto and carnivore with the occasional cheats for sweets is better option for me. I am currently on a big veggie kick so I am going to try to do half and half (veg and protein) for meals, see what that does. Thank you for taking the time to let me know your story. ๐Ÿซ‚

Thank you ๐Ÿซ‚. I walk my driveway, I live 6 miles from town and there's only a few places to walk in town (I'm in the country ๐Ÿ˜‚). But we walk everywhere we can when we go somewhere. You'll get there ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’ช

That's cool. I look forward to the day I have lots of land to just walk around on like that. I have this dream of creating some kind of indoor nature park with a small trail (maybe a half mile loop around the house), kind of like this one I used to go to in Sedona. Very few people around. Just nature. There was a tiny river. Red rocks.

Ahhhh that sounds awesome! Sounds very peaceful. Nature is so wonderful.
