Not really. Mastodon is a place liberal tech people go to to censor people because of freedom.
Discussion
That’s what I’ve been told.
If big tech are big social media empires these Mastodon instances seem to be little fiefdoms for insecure people to be the big bad censor.
Funny though and makes sense they are so angry about people being able to say what they want.
Mastodon, or the Fediverse has a bunch of cool freespeech instances. I run a freespeech instance at poster.place. Fediverse deserves a lot of praise for being the only real usable alternative to Twitter. Normies fled to the Fediverse after Elon bought Twitter and hated it. If normies hated a better product than Nostr will ever be, how will they like it here?
I don’t really care about normies. I liked the net better before they were here. I think I was on poster.place at one point or federated with and woke up one day to the instance I was on being gone entirely.
