Yeah I don't care for watching sport, I'll watch AFL here in Australia with mates, but only for the social aspect of talking shit and having a beer.

Yeah I can't even do that . It requires massive amounts of energy for me to navigate the social aspects of it.

My main barrier to being emotionally invested in sports is that , when you boil it down to teams owned by rich people , its just rich people fighting with their wallets.

If that is the case , I would rather make THAT the sport : rich person wallet fighting, kind of like pillow fighting, the bigger the wallet, the more chance of winning- just like every other sport, but more honest and to the point.

I'm not as flustered when it is small town teams /sports . I think it's the abstraction of sport that bothers me.

To me, it's just bread and circuses. One more tool the elite use to keep us in line and paying the bills.
