I can only speak for myself. Some of the music was and still is "the best" and some of the music is disposable and now insignificant. It really does depend on the mood & mindset.
One thing is true, though, one's musical taste evolves over time and through life's experiences.
I'll always be a rock n roll/blues junkie, and I'll never be a hip-hop or rap flunkie ☠️💀
