But hey at least she has lots of likes on tiktok! It’s like being a popular orange piller, there are more retards that will agree with the noise rather than the signal . The signal - that it’s their fault, is not popular
https://x.com/financialphys/status/1785418646023467479 I too had this same thought as a teen lol I even tried to help others see the way. Just like with the vax, they spit in my face for my troubles and did it anyways

No one forced them to go in debt, not work, and study something a quick google search could come back with the expected salary. Accountability is sweet.

https://x.com/morrow49564/status/1785442902820180034 pretty obvious. To delay adulthood, to live “the college lifestyle” they feel entitled to.
Saifedean brought this up in the fiat standard. Give them a taste of the country club lifestyle before they earned it, so that they are trapped in debt the rest of their lives to pay for it.

Got to get the gov out of the student loan business as a start. Let the banks perform actual underwriting on the student loans. Costs will come down. Demand will dry up.
Price will come down as a result (econ 101)
They want their cake and to eat it too. Free money essentially. Won’t work that way. They want to get that country club experience for free. Get back to work, peasants
Add to that. Way less students would be able to get loans, which is a good thing.
Approved* for loans
Yeah part of demand going down. We don’t need these useless majors lol
The funny part is these western commies would also cry about how it’s not fair that they couldn’t get a loan approved to study sociology too if the gov did get out of student loans. They aren’t serious ppl. But the real word is very serious
My major was useless. Finance and then continued to get my mba (regret intensifies). There were only 2 classes that were pivotal for me. Statistics and Game Theory. These 2 were pretty important for me to understand what was going on during covid.
Practically every job I’ve had I just learned on the go, but I probably wouldn’t have gotten in the door without those diplomas.
A big issue with that is most hiring departments are filled with people who have degrees (or multiple), and therefore student debt, so they over estimate the worth of those degrees for that reason.
