The WGA writer and SAG actor strikes have put a bigger financial burden on an already majorly underpaid group of people while studio heads continue to rake in profits. Famous actors often make plenty of money from a film and can hold out just fine during this, but most of the supporting workers behind the scenes can not. We are already seeing talk of food pantries, homelessness, and more due from these and the studios want to squeeze them until they break and give in. We are going to try to raise some Sat funds here in Los Angeles and then offer to spread it around to the strikers who are outside the studios right now.
