It has happened to me before when trying to explain MMT to people.

No, I don’t believe Modern Monetary Theory is a viable, or even a good system.

But its proponents are technically correct that if new monetary units are created and production increases at the same pace, inflation of prices wouldn’t occur, since the money supply would be growing in line with output.

I get it though, I get triggered at stupid things too 😂

too long, didn't read

you are clearly a fascist

They are correct, but it destroys the world too. Lol Pumping production numbers just to match monetary inflation is a great way to end up exactly where we are. And it never seems to actually happen for long, does it? The money printing seems to always come before the production and at a higher rate. Production has to come before consumption, and that will never happen when leeches rather than producers control the money. It's good that you demand accurate arguments. We all should.

Not only does the consumption come before the production, in their view, but they also assume they can predict where the future demand will be.

Yeah, central planning is simply a retarded concept. No human or group is capable of actually doing it. The only group that can is the entire group of market participants. So free markets.

I think this is partly why the mighty elites are drooling over AI, just the latest tool in their ongoing push for a centralized planned economy.

Communism didn’t work, so they pivoted to MMT. MMT is failing, so now it’s on to an AI-planned economy.

listening to Fredrick Bastiat’s “The Law” while reading this. 👍
