I overcame my fear and did the keyboard replacement 🙂 It turns out it was super easy, two screws, two ribbon cables, a bit of wigglewaggle and it was done. I got backlight now! ☺️ And a US layout. The French lettering really confused me. 😅

TL;DR I am impressed by the repairability of this thing so far. #thinkpad #keyboard
