Make them crispy in the oven. Similar to making crispy potatoes, get the oil in the pan in the oven first then when hot add the halved sprouts. Cook until golden and crsipy.
Fried in butter with walnuts
Pan fried in clarified butter, but I started adding balsamic afterwards and reducing that down a bit.
