I have it pretty cushy, aside from being salaried and not making any extra if I work overtime. That's a fuckin scam. But flex time is the shit, I love just rolling out of bed without an alarm whenever I feel like it. And on days where I don't need an expensive ass robot to run I can do my job from home. But this "working for other people" and "receiving a small percentage of the profit from my labor" shit is for the birds. My company charges other companies over $300 an hour for my sorry ass, and I only get a portion of that as salary.

Not gonna lie; if I could make the same I do with engineering at a weed company I'd move jobs in a fucking heartbeat.
