I think I get what you're saying. I guess it depends on how you phrase it, perhaps 'time well spent' is what I should have said. The inherent understanding that our time here is finite, and time being a subjective experience, it would be a shame to squander it since we don't know when death will come.
I don't understand or feel the "inherent understanding that our time is finite" part. What is death if we always live on?

Death would be the end of *this* experience.
How tied together are these experiences? If we never are able to remember the end or the beginning?
I feel like it's continuous. We could be reborn someone new everyday and not know it.
