Nope. Maybe it was regional? We're mostly Pepsi here. As a kid I always said pop. I didn't start saying soda until I was an adult.
Tab was everywhere when I was a kid. It was basically Diet Coke before there was Diet Coke. It was made by Coca-Cola since the 1960s, but they began to phase it out after Diet Coke became more popular starting in the 1980s.
Tab was all over the Deep South. Coincidentally, Tab is the worst soft drink ever.
