This is the hard life of a public routing node.
If you are not well prepared to handle this, run private nodes, not public ones.
I think he’s just shutting his node down but I’d like more info as to what happened as well.
Looks like he got rugged. And/or rugged others inadvertently. 🤷🏻♂️
I believe he did a mass close kinda like nostr:npub137c5pd8gmhhe0njtsgwjgunc5xjr2vmzvglkgqs5sjeh972gqqxqjak37w and is asking if his channel peers could send him sats “if owed”
That’s what I’m thinking.
He clearly stated the reason in the note. Basically, if you had channel with his node and your node executed a penalty transaction because his node broadcasted old state, he asks for the penalty funds to be returned. My situation was much better in that I only executed a wrong command that triggered closure of all channels. I wish him the best in untangling this situation, even reading about it brings PTSD with LND to me 🐶🐾🫂
