most original posts feel like statements thrown into the void. Not much real back-and-forth…more like broadcasting than conversation. It’s not always like that, but mostly.
I think Nostr could become a space for deeper discussion, but it probably needs more people willing to slow down, ask questions, and actually engage instead of just posting and moving on.

I guess it starts with me…since I’m the algorithm, I / We should engage more with posts we like or find worthy of our interaction. Asking more questions and creating space for people to have more convos. It’s not sexy here on Nostr to do so but I believe it’s because we don’t want to spend the time on long reads. Maybe it’s a societal problem in general. Idk. Random thoughts
Yes, it starts with me too. I just wonder if there are things we can build to accelerate it. Most of us crave deeper connections, but we’ve been trained to chase dopamine hits from bite-sized content. If we can shift that—and make conversations on Nostr more substantial—I think it could be a major draw for new users.
