What's a bluesky , how does one bluesky
It’s another decentralized twitter alternative, spun off from Twitter while Jack was still there. Nice design and layout, but the community is still pretty small (by design – limited rollout) and it’s still missing a lot of core functionality.
What's your comparison between Nostr and Bluesky
Bluesky has a cleaner, more consistent UI and I like the look and feel, but it is far less feature-complete than Nostr.
There are no DMs yet, no GIF or video support, and obviously no zaps. You can delete posts, but not edit.
The community has also been kept artificially small (by design) and there are only about ~5000 accounts currently, so engagement is pretty low. I think my best performing post so far got maybe 6 likes and a few reposts.
Development is still almost entirely centralized, but other clients are just starting to emerge built on their “AT Protocol”. It doesn’t *feel* decentralized yet, but the protocol is designed to be.
