I love journaling and I’ve tried for years to do it in the first hour or so after waking up, except every morning, I’m basically brain dead for two hours, moping and recalling who I am and what the world is.

So I think I’m starting to accept that that’s just not for me.

No idea how people can journal in the morning or do anything at all other than simmer in the smell of their mere existence.

If I’m not the slowest living twenty-something you’ve ever known… 🦥

I’ve found journaling to end the day or when I’m upset to be most helpful.
