The genius simplicity of #nostr is that beliefs are cryptographically anchored to npubs. You decide which npubs to believe, resulting in a shared belief. While your decisions can be influenced, nothing comes in between the npubs you decide to believe.

The concept is so much bigger than a Twitter alternative.

And to think of how much $$$ Silicon Valley VCs ploughed into “blockchain” and “crypto” when the next big thing was just using keypairs in new contexts
