I'm ok with sidestepping appstores. You can always download apks or build alternative appstores.
But all custodial wallets will come under pressure to do mass surveillance. Self-custody is a must.
LN address is nice UX. I just want to make it an easy transition for those using WoS right now.

And yes, self custody is a must, but ln address its gonna need always a server working, afaik its pretty simple, it just attach a lud16 to a email like addres, something like nip05 do.
So best solution its to run your own server or vps, buy a domain and start forward payment from you@yourdomain.com, with that you can even manage to receive email trough that email like addr
