Excited to try it out. What's the thing that has you most pumped about it.
Is the core Svelte team aware/interested in Tauri? I'm very interested in performant Svelte+Tauri applications.
Sveltekit + Tauri is soooo good. Can’t wait for mobile support to be out of Alpha
For me I think it’s improved DX - we’ll probably see some of the syntax change a bit (for the better).
They are aware of it but the focus is on the web, I don’t think there will be any specific integration with Tauri, but at the same time it’ll be just as easy in v5 as in v4.
I think one interesting avenue to explore is a custom adapter for SvelteKit that outputs something that works well with Tauri. I’m not super familiar with Tauri so I don’t really know what that would look like
