My cancer-stricken grandpa was chugging cheetos and jelly beans until the day he died last year

My grandma (last living grandparent) is pounding through a crate of Ensure chemslop every week, so it probably won't be long for her

There's nothing I could do/can do about either of them. My parents box me out from trying to bring any seedlings of truth up when we're together, and TBH it's probably for the best since the chance of me successfully changing their ways is ~zero

This is part of the story for so many of us truth-seeking millennials; we have to watch our family members wilt away from all the bullshit lies they were fed throughout their lives, while they either call us crazy for going against the status quo that's killing them, or another family member(s) jump in and gatekeep (usually parents blocking us from disrupting things higher up the family)

It is what it is. This is why I always stay focused on the future; both for my own kids, and the next generation as a whole. You simply cannot save everyone, and you need to be selfish with your time/energy if you truly care about making the most positive change in the world that you possibly can.

I would be shocked if any dietary intervention could treat any advanced or aggressive cancer.

Agreed. Especially at an end of life stage. The ability to multiple mitochondria at that point is severely diminished.

There is some good evidence that no-carb dietary intervention can be helpful to those cancer at any stage though it’s obviously not a panacea.

One thing about carnivore is it’s very easy to implement at low cost and has no downsides or side effects. If one has cancer, there is absolutely no reason not to implement.

Yes, low carb/low sugar diet in conjunction with lots of EZ water. Cancer is the warning light on the body's dashboard, and doesn't have to be a death sentence

My mom was telling me yesterday how she cooked a meal for my niece. She made her spaghetti with beef on the side. She cut off all the fat of the beef and was really proud of that. I kept telling her that instead of getting rid of the nutritious beef fat she needed to dump the spaghetti, which is essentially sugar. She told me fat will give me a stroke.

Imagine a beneficial AI with such alignment

This is a hard realization to come to, but its definitely true.

My wife and I have had to witness multiple family members get vaccine injured (one actually died last year of turbo cancer at 52), others slowly being killed by pharma, and malnourished kids that "won't eat" good food.

All but a few of them think we're crazy, and that it must be luck that our family is the healthiest of all 4 sides of the families

your parents and grandparents, and probably siblings etc are brainwashed. Its that simple, and you cannot do anything. In the same boat. Best to walk and talk the bitcoin solution, otherwise your life is less.

Gen X here and I can’t get my elders to stop the harmful foods/pharmaceuticals, etc either. It’s very frustrating!!! MIL died last year from vax injury and FIL isn’t doing great.

You will never live the lives of your elders. Their lives and options are not yours. We live in a time of abundance when making choices is now available and difficult in all the noise around us. Be thankful you now have the ability to make such choices. Seek out their wisdom. To have grandparents is a blessing. Don’t turn your back on it.

The demographics are top heavy with boomers. From 1930 - 1960 there were 10 working people for every retiree. Medical aid helped boomers to live longer, adding pressure to social and health services. Then the economy changed and so did the demographics. But the political and financial system didn't change. We, the boomers are to blame for sleepwalking our way through a comfortable, convenient , consumerism life. We, have doomed the younger generation into a hyperloop of taxpayer serfdom.

I'm not the clever one here - Mr Charles Hugh Smith writes brutal truths about where we've gone wrong. Shahid Bolsen speaks truth about how we can right the wrongs.

My question to those aged 50 down - what are 3 things that we can help with, to turn this around.
