I see. I thought there was specific news in relation to their self custody solicitation.

I’m not worried about self custody in courts btw. Not only is it unconstitutional in like 5 different ways, but it’s also impossible to enforce or even implement in a reasonable manner. They can go fuck themselves.

What’s much more likely is companies like fidelity lobby so that institutions can hold in self custody, which ends up protecting smaller individuals.

Yup. That was kind of my point. Delays tied to this going to the courts. Whether it helps individuals or just companies remains to be seen. I can see it being “legal” for companies but not so much for individuals.
