If you can provide an acceptable argument for why than I will do so. However, considering the many MANY ways of hiding a user’s post on the Fediverse I fundamentally disagree that it’s a bad idea.

You can mute the bot, you can block the but, you can defederate from the bot, hell if you want to go nuclear you could defederate from the instance or block posts from all bots.

At the end of the day though, it operates by pulling random words from word pools and generating patterns for these words. It does have basic word recognition for key phrases but it is incapable of being actively malicious, it’s just a set of pre-programmed instructions.

Additionally, I want to make clear that I made the decision early on to NEVER include targeted attacks to people suffering from suicidal tendencies or suicidal ideation.

With these points in mind, are you able to provide a reason why this bot could potentially be a bad idea?
