Well, history is crystal clear here. Every time there has been a lot of capitalism and freedon, huge amounts of people have been getting away from poverty and got more peace prosperity. Every time there have been strong goverment intervention, sosialism and less freedom, huge amounts of population have introduced to poverty and less peace.

Yes, that's what I was taught as well, and it may have even been somewhat true before all the corruption that haunts us today, save of course for theft of land, and labor and genocide.

You write as if we have an actually free market, and a true and transparent democratic process to bolster our entrepreneurial spirits, but we have neither, and the reality of the socialism you equate to less freedom, is only ever really afforded to the very affluent, and their multi-national banks and corporations.

We could likely learn something from China about poverty reduction and diplomacy, albeit I wont venture to write of the wars helping to sustain our dwindling economic prowess.

What we have now is central bank sosialism, where elite gets the rewards and losses are mostly sosialized by the poor.

It barely hasn't generated anything good, mostly just wealth inequality, endless wars, hopelessness and waste of resources.

China got many people out of poverty just by creating more reliable energy that boosted productivity. But they're also enslaving millions of people to work for them for free.
