Good post. Nostr economy is still very small, but I remain bullish on #value4value. Please zap ⚡

zaps still matter.

I stay zapping! I gotta be in the top 0.1% of all nostr zappers !!!

Interesting but being a small account on X/Twitter it is impossible for me to get any sort of payment. I'd have to start playing with algo, shitposting and being totally engaged to achieve progress. In comparison on #nostr I do get #value4value #zaps all the time and I see the trend growing. I never drop "please zap" and I drop my notes, music and art here. Considering the underground character of my sound work I'd never make this sort of income/however small it might be/ on spotify for example. I'm optimistic moving forward. This makes way more sense to me than X.

I think there is a lot of potential!

A market for services: relays, hosting/storage, LSPs, VPNs, DVMs, news/entertainment, software development, all seem like a good match. A single interface, and protocol, to manage and pay for these together. Later it can grow into every other use case.

Donations and tips can work (v4v) for some, though it already feels small in an already small market. Some have made it work, but it seems more rare than common.

Making these data public generates debate and therefore better ideas to develop an economy outside of state control

Not to bash on Joe, but while his bottom line may be higher from x, his performance there is dismal. He did much better on nostr when factoring in audience size and percentage response.

Ich wollte zappen. Aber du hast ein Split der schlecht altert.
