I joined Pinterest early, and very quickly rose to 1 million followers. One day they contacted me and told me they were switching their algorithm and that my growth would stop.

This was a disheartening reminder that centralized platforms have the ultimate control. Since that day I’ve been hunting for somewhere I could own my own content and growth.

NOSTR is aligning with my goals, and feeling like what the internet should have been in the first place.
