Man getting some odd takes on the Fediverse about Assange. Apparently locking journalists up in Britain's toughest jail, in isolation, without trial is totally cool because on a personal level Assange was a cunt.

A lot of national-intelligence bots perk up whenever the name is mentioned. A lot of the takes you read aren't from people but are from national security agencies programming their bot-nets.
Seems lots of people also think journalists should only report the misdeeds of their opponents during an election and that if you report the misdeeds of their side then you're a stooge being manipulated by Russia.
