No where in the above paragraph did I insult my parents. What i’m expressing is that, like many of us, I had to unlearn and undo patterns, baggage, and unhealthy dynamics that were passed down.

It’s not about blaming them as people, but about choosing a different path. If that’s an insult to them then it is what it is.
