#asknostr #pfsense hello nostr, for a pfsense firewall, do I necessarily need to configure my ISP router to bridge mode? and like what other hardwaree do I need (other than the device running pfsense like netgate)? I guess a switch and router will be necessary?

I'm thinking/hoping the firewall goes between my ISP router and wifi router. I turn off the ISP wifi and only use the wifi router behind it (and soon to be behind the firewall).

Hoping it's that simple, will find out soon enough.

ISP bridge mode then PFsense, managed switch, controller for unifi (raspi will work) access point. YouTube: Lawrence systems. There is a bit of a learning curve but I figured it out.

Thanks man, I will try that one day, thanks for the resource

Good luck with it should you go down that path!
