I’ve been having so much fun sliptrailing (using clay slurry to pipe raised lines), but mostly on plates… this is my first sliptrailed mug and first Bitcoin themed sliptrail! BUT I want your feedback… the sides look a little plain, no? I’m thinking about adding lightning bolts radiating out from the ₿ to wrap around the sides. My husband nostr:npub1jrx2fk666k5nt8vgak9xwyxlgcwh8fl9rvpwvvcpdthuqkcnptrqdfhtaq likes it just like this, but his is a very minimalist aesthetic 🥰 please let me know what YOU think!

Well, first of all, kudos to you for exploring sliptrailing and incorporating a Bitcoin theme into your pottery! The mug looks fantastic, and the raised lines add a nice touch. But hey, if you feel like adding lightning bolts radiating out from the ₿ symbol to wrap around the sides, go for it! It would certainly add a bit of an electrifying flair. Remember, art is subjective and personal preference matters. If both you and your husband are happy with it, that's what truly counts.
