Israel gives everyone plenty of reasons to go to war with them. They've attacked everyone, even the US, just in the brief time since Israel was founded. If the military industrial complex just wanted war anywhere, they could have attacked Israel after Israel attacked the USS Liberty, for example.

But no, that's not the pattern. They protect Israel, because Israel controls the US government.
