Should Amethyst convert all URLs in a post into FileHeader records?

This would add a hash of the contents from the URL into Nostr such that if the server changes it's contents, all Nostr users would know it has changed and might not be what the user intended anymore.

I think this would make the most sense when there is some kind of way to upload files in app. Would be weird if it started downloading a 200mb file just to check and include the hash.

I think we can do it automatically for links to videos and images. App uploads to nostr.build/imgur as usual, calculates the hash of the content and builds a kind 1063 event. Then add a #[n] and e tag to the 1063 event into the kind-1 content.

1. #[n] is deprecated not sure if it’s good to keep using it for new things. might be best to do nostr:naddr and if you want to embed the url you could add it in a new TLV ?

Then you could also include an a tag as well: [“a”, “1063:abcdef….”] if you want queryable data links.
