A zap is a payment on a nostr note. If you’re using Snort.social or Damus’s TestFlight app you might see a little lightning icon next to each note. ⚡️
That let’s you add a tip or payment on your endorsement/enthusiasm while reacting to a note.
A Zap is a micro transaction that allows you to send tiny Bitcoin payments to complete strangers, for no real reason other than it’s cool and feels good.
