Very briefly. I made friends with the guy.
In grade school I slammed his head against a desk when he started picking on others. I was fine ignoring him when he picked on me. It stopped after that.
Earlier in grade school, my dad taught me how to properly punch but I don't remember if it ever came to that.
I got into one altercation with a douchebag. He never messed with me again.
And I slammed an AP bio textbook into another kids head so hard he bounced off his desk back into the book, which was still coming down on the follow through. He was saying truly disgusting stuff about the AP bio teacher, whom I knew outside of school, and was the sweetest, prettiest woman I had known up until that time. Yeah, we all had crushes on her, which was why what that turd was saying enraged me to the point where I grabbed the closest thing and wanted to crush his skull in.
I love that, good on you for fighting back.
The power of consequence is an amazing behavioral correction tool.
We fought all the time, bulling was not a thing back then. We had a lots of stupid ideas, usually somebody would end up hurt.
The guys almost never fought at my school, it was incredibly rare. The girls on the other hand, holy shit lol
It is the other way around. Were you homeschooled?
Lol no I was not homeschooled, were you? I think generally speaking guys understand that fighting another dude just leads to broken noses and trouble. Friends get involved, after school shit happens, it's not something that happened lightly.
The girls were far more likely to just grab each other by the hair and have at it over some petty drama. It happened pretty often, it was amusing.
Not really. I was picked on a little bit but for the most part I was invisible.
