Thank you for sharing but it didn’t really work. I ended up opening the note link on safari then long pressing the .mp4 file to save linked file.

It’s because I was trying to do this in an alternate browser or client link. I didn’t try the Damus to copy note to Safari combo.

I don’t think this experiment with iOS is going to last long for me.
