It’s a work in progress. I have a reminder on my phone to clean up the list every month. I find there’s a lot of quitters during the summer.
But in general there’s a constant stream of quitting. Maybe they go back to twitter. Or don’t like it here for some other reason 🤷🏾♂️
When I take a peek at BT, it really looks as if the whole thing is shadow banned. So much less engagement and views than there used to be

Stack chain still around I think, a good number of the usual suspects too, but clearly a drop in the more recent wave from last cycle. Just doesn't seem to be much real "heat" there. Could be my bias though

Kinda. When I was younger I remember being on there before they had a retweet button. People would copy the tweet and then write RT at the top and paste it in there. That was peak Twitter imo. I got off all social media at some point then got back on again to follow sports news. When I got into Bitcoin late in 2022 I started following the large Bitcoin accounts but it was such a shitshow. Never interacted with any of them because my replies were just buried and building up a following felt like a pain in the ass. So I didn’t use it much and noticed I was just arguing with random retards. Then I found out about nostr and deleted twitter completely some time after that. Odell inspired me and it wasn’t hard because I was barely using it anyway. I also didn’t like the blue check and verification shit that Elon was doing.
I found it was impossible to see the tweets of the people I followed. One of the main reasons nostr was so appealing

No. Following tab would show junk. Heavy censoring. Even with people I interacted with recently. To fight this you had to manually find the notes of friends and like them all. Archaic
I did start having my doubts about it sometimes showing all, but for the most part I thought it did (caught some misses here and there but nothing like what you're saying). Heard some others say same thing though
Perhaps I was following too many also. But the top 30 people I interacted with never showed up there. It’s as if they were offline. But they weren’t! I remember doing a “is anybody there?” tweet at some point and they all liked it 🤣
