Do you think that it is even possible? It seems like there could be an issue getting anything to go through. Like a split house in American, where the sitting president is a laim duck. Hope not, but it might be that way for a decade.
I'm not very knowledgeable with Argentina's government and their processes, but yes, it's entirely possible if it's setup similar to ours for reasons you mentioned.
