Our hospital was forced to half-heartedly parrot the federal government vax nonsense…and despite granting religious exemptions on a near rubber stamp basis, we still we lost a ton of CT techs, nurses, etc when pandemic was at its worst. We haven’t gotten back to full staff in CT and have a ton of travelers.

If you want to work in AZ, there’s a lot of open spots! Our group is unusual in that we all trained in SW MN.

Yes I think most hospitals are in the same boat. Then our little rural hospital here closed down recently, financial problems. But I'm done with all that, I just want to maybe find a tree nursery and work part time watering trees.😊

It’s profitable to sell to bigger systems and then shut down the competition. Your hospital probably didn’t have insurmountable financial trouble. It was to someone else’s benefit that you travel farther for care.

True, they never tell the whole story.
