The veneration of Mary is a hard message to swallow, I think, but I think his message that Saint Mary is an excellent role model for all of us, and especially for women, is 🎯

I spoke with an Egyptian Muslim this summer, in his opinion, Muslims hold Mary in higher esteem and had some “data” to back it up. (not arguing for Islam, just an interesting side note)
Yeah, I know. A lot of Islam is correct, or at least complementary, but without the Trinity they're missing the core, so they veer off onto counter-productive tangents and are overfocused on earthly existence and utopia-building.
It's the same, as with Jews. So close, but no Trinity. 🤷🏻♀️
