True, it’s fair to learn from the past but at the same time, I don’t go around confirming that every publicly traded company actually holds the assets they claim to have on their balance sheet. And I know for a fact the banks only hold a fraction of the fiat that the companies claim to have. So if I truly want full adoption of btc, at some point I have to trust the soundness of the btc holding companies more than the fiat ones. Otherwise I’m still playing the fiat game.
