NIP-05 makes sense if there is already a domain name associated with your identity, like if Elon identified himself here with tesla dot com. Otherwise you can set up one for yourself on a free domain like I did, just for shits and giggles.

Entiendo, gracias por la respuesta, es que me generaba bastantes dudas la verdad. Por otro lado, usar uno u otro podría exponer la IP de tu servidor que te valida, el lugar donde vives o etc ?
