I think you are right with this sentiment. Anything Bitcoin positive seems like a move of last resort.
Never want any kind of basic income. It means someone is forced to pay for it, and the person getting it will never stop getting it. Getting rid of the Central Banks that destroy the value of our money will go a long way to making it easier to live your life.
Currently I can see it being essential for some sort of initial response to the early post labour pressures. I understand your dislike for though.
