The Bitcoin Knots node is cool and all but what up with sats/Kvb pricing unit for sending a transaction and suggesting 1000 sats.

The whole world is "sats/vb".

The Bitcoin network is currently 4 sat/vB for immediate inclusion in a bloc. How do I set that in sat/Kvb? 4000 ? .004 ? I'm s confused.

At Present Knots is unusable ... running dual risk of getting transactions stuck vs. overpaying massively.
