"Equality" has been exploited by weak men to escape the unsaid but inescapable responsibilities they have to head up their households.
Women go along with it, desiring the freedom from dependence and their own duty, and ultimately become turned off as they gradually witness their husband captitulate his manhood to make a motherly womb of the relationship. It grosses them out.
This is the current state of most relationships. The feminist view is the consensus view. It is a million miles away from a "unpopular opinion".
